Your motor vehicle inspection is good for 2 years from month of Inspection.
You can find the inspection sticker located at the bottom of the drivers front windshield. There is the year of expiry on the sticker, and will expire on the last day of the month that is punched.
There cannot be any film on the window to the left and right of the driver, and also front windshield. There cannot be any film on any of the vehicles lights as well. Some vehicles will have factory tint as part of the window and NOT a film, this is acceptable and passes inspection.
When a vehicle fails inspection, a rejection sticker will be issued. We try our best to schedule accordingly to have any repairs completed the same day of the inspection, depending on part availability and the size of the repair. Any repairs that have not been completed within a 14 day time frame of the inspection will require a new inspection and inspection fees processed.
By law you are not to have your vehicle on the road if the inspection has expired. You can however request a 24 hour permit from the motor vehicle branch to drive from your residence to the repair shop to complete the inspection.
